getting to know Harold
So Harold moved in last week, and I can't really say I know him. But I decided that was enough of that, so Harold and I got some food from Ninos pizzeria, and enjoyed a nice "getting to know each other" lunch on the balcony. It's a nice day, a bit on the humid side, but as end of August events go, it was a perfect lunch.
I ordered the veal with asparagus and some ziti with marinara sauce, while Harold decided to go with some raw carrots. He was kinda picking at his food, but maybe polishing off 3/4s of the wine bottle didn't help! We conspired and stole some of CBT3s wine, hey CBT3! Harold is a wino and a thief! ha ha!
So what's Harold like? not very talkative, I'll tell you that. after some cajoling, he told me has 14 cousins, but no siblings, was born in Chinatown, and is very much against abortion. I was shocked, thinking, he's from chinatown, I expect him to be a bit more zen about these things. But he's not very zen, he's always fidgeting, and he always complains about the food and the weather. he did mention he met Kramer from Seinfeld once, but didn't have anything for him to sign when he met him. I think as a first lunch we did ok, and sharing the apartment with harold won't be so bad.
